Roasted Onion


  1. 2 medium onions
  2. 1 tsp olive oil
  3. Salt and fresh ground pepper
  4. 1 tsp Balsamic vinegar or Apple cider vinegar


  1. Adjust oven rack to lowest place at 300 degrees centigrade.
  2. Make 4 cuts to have 8 pieces.
  3. Toss with oil and vinegar
  4. Generous sprinkle of salt and pepper. Place, on a baking tray.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Roast until tender and cut surfaces are golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes. Adjust seasonings.You will surprised to see a beautiful flower.
  7. Serve as a side dish or a salad.
