Paneer Aloo Paratha


For dough

  1. Chapati atta (Whole wheat flour) 2 cup
  2. Salt – to taste
  3. Water

For stuffing

  1. Paneer  1 cup, crumbled
  2. Boiled potato 1
  3. Onion 1
  4. Green chili chopped
  5. Cilantro or coriander leaves
  6. Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
  7. white pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Garam masala  ½ tsp
  9. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Salt
  11. Ghee/oil


  1. Take atta, salt in a bowl. mix well and start adding little water at a time and knead into soft and smooth dough.
  2. Cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes. Meanwhile make the stuffing.
  3. Take all the stuffing ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Mix well .
  5. Take one flatten ball, roll into 3-4 inch diameter circle. Put the stuffing inside and seal it by gathering the edges into the center.
  6. Flatten it using hand and roll into 6 inch diameter circle. Use fry flour to make rolling easy.
  7. Heat the tawa to fry the paratha.
  8. Fry the paratha on hot tawa by using ghee.
  9. Serve these parathas with butter or chutney.
