Kadhai Paneer

Kadhai Paneer is main course recipe served in lunch or dinner with chapatti or paratha.

  1. Paneer/cottage cheese cubes 250 gms
  2. Onions 2
  3. Tomatoes 4
  4. Capsicum 1
  5. Ginger chopped 1 tsp
  6. Green chili chopped 1 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  8. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  11. coriander leaves a few
  12. Ghee 1 tbsp.
  13. Salt to taste

Method

  1. In a kadhai  add ghee ,Hing, jeera ,ginger ,green chili .
  2. Now sauté onions till they become translucent.
  3. Now add chopped tomatoes and chopped capsicum.
  4. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder ,salt and little water. Mix well and allow the mixture to boil.Add cottage cheese pieces.
  5. Lastly add Garam masala.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Serve with amritsari kulcha, angakdi, missi roti , multigrain chapati or paratha.
